of the Thesis Practical control design using constrained Hinfinity by Sergio Lopez Lopez Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering University of California, Irvine, 2007 Professor Athanasios Sideris, Chair A framework for the implementation and design of practical controllers is presented. The methodology used is divided and presented in two stages, identification and design. The results demonstrate efficiency in the identification stage. The controller design is presented from basic optimal control problems to multirate and constrained optimal control problems. The results validate the methodology and implementation proposed.
